NatWest Animated Illustrations
Whilst working at T&P Group as a designer, I created a wide range of branded illustrations for NatWest, designed specifically for animation. My process began with hand-drawn pencil sketches, which I then refined in Adobe Illustrator to produce clean, on-brand illustrations. Each asset was carefully structured and layered to ensure it was fully prepared for animation in Adobe After Effects. This workflow allowed me to maintain strong visual consistency while ensuring the illustrations translated smoothly into motion.
Wedding Card Illustration
I was commissioned to create a wedding thank-you card. The couple wanted an illustration of their daughter in a chibi (anime) style, along with a D20 dice, as they run a war gaming group and both enjoy running and playing games. I worked closely with the couple, showing sketches and checking that we were going in the right direction. They were very happy with the finished card.
This was created from traditional sketches and then inked and coloured in Adobe Illustrator.
Mending Time - Graphic Novel
I wrote and designed a short graphic novel called 'Mending Time'. My idea was to create a short story that could be told over 4 pages of a graphic novel. I wrote a story about a young woman named Simone, who creates a time machine and decides to use it to fix her last relationship. I planned out the comic panels, I designed each character, designed each environment. I drew out the comic by hand, then scanned the drawings into Photoshop to be inked and coloured. I created the character and narrated dialogue myself. I had so much fun creating this short comic series and I will be creating more.
