Comics & Graphic Novels
Alongside graphic design and illustration I also create comic strips and Graphic Novels in my spare time.
'Girl Problems' comic series
I’m the creator and illustrator of the slice-of-life comic series Girl Problems, where I transform relatable everyday experiences into engaging, humorous short-form comics. The series has grown to an audience of over 1,000 subscribers and more than 180,000 views on Webtoon. I independently develop each comic from concept to completion, including storywriting, character design, composition, and final illustration, using Adobe Illustrator to produce polished, visually compelling work.
The comic strip on the left is called 'And Stay Out' which is one of my favourites just playing on the funny fact that I do not like tea as a british person.
Mending Time Graphic Novel
I turned one of my short stories into a four-page graphic novel, designing all of the characters, environments, and props using a mix of traditional drawing and Adobe Photoshop. The story follows a young woman who invents a time machine and thinks she should use it to stop all the terrible events in history, but instead decides to go back and figure out why her last relationship ended.
I really enjoyed bringing the story to life visually and developing the different characters, settings, and props to make the world feel fun and believable. Designing the time machine was my favourite part of the project, and I definitely took inspiration from my love of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure and its playful approach to time travel.
